A man from Salford has been charged after police raided more than 20 homes across Greater Manchester and Merseyside as part of a crackdown on suspected organised crime.
Hedi Garmseri was one of 13 men charged following a police operation targeting people suspected of being involved in the supply of class A drugs.
The 19-year-old has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, conspiracy to supply heroin, conspiracy to traffic humans, conspiracy to burgle, conspiracy to steal and conspiracy to supply cannabis.
He was detained in the early hours of Wednesday, February 18, as Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Crime Division executed warrants at 22 properties and took 23 men into custody.
Chief Constable Sir Stephen Watson joined 258 officers from across multiple districts, units and departments to carry out the large-scale operation.
The raids recovered several weapons, including two imitation firearms, bladed articles and tasers, along with class A and class B drugs, £3,000 of cash, eight Rolex watches, valuables worth more than £40,000 and a caravan.
