Three men have been charged with manslaughter after the death of a man in Salford.
Ben Wright was severely injured during an early-hours incident outside Dessie’s Place on Liverpool Road in Irlam on March 29.
The 39-year-old was rushed to hospital but tragically died two days later.
On Friday, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed three men have been charged with manslaughter for their suspected involvement in the fatal attack.
Jacob Hall, 19, of Chapel Street, Leigh, Cole Churchill, 20, of Morillion Road, Irlam, and Connor Lee Browne, 19, of Bowness Avenue, Irlam, have all been charged with manslaughter and affray.
The men accused are due to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on 21 August.
In a statement, GMP said: “Cole Churchill (23/08/2005) of Morillion Road, Irlam, Jacob Hall (29/11/2006) of Chapel Street, Leigh, and Connor Lee Browne (08/07/2007) of Bowness Avenue, Irlam, have all been charged with manslaughter and affray.
“They will be appearing at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on 21 August 2026.
“The charges relate to an incident on Liverpool Road, Irlam on Sunday 29 March.”
