An award-winning artisan market will be returning to Eccles this weekend.
This Sunday (October 4), Independent Street will come to Church Street for Eccles Artisan Market – alongside Walk the Plank’s The Wagon Train.
Both events are coming together in the heart of Eccles, with Independent Street Founder Lisa Cowley saying, “There is so much happening this Sunday, and it’s going to be a brilliant day for the town.
“Our markets are all about giving independent businesses a platform while creating something that the whole community can come and enjoy. With the Artisan Market and The Wagon Train taking place together, there really is something for everyone.
“We’d love people to come down, bring the family, enjoy all the free entertainment, have a wander around the market and support both our traders and the businesses already based in Eccles.”
Visitors can expect singing, dancing, live music, art workshops and drama performances, as well as an art trail from Humbug Art, the 96 Degrees musicians collective and artist Angie Thompson’s ‘Invitation to Play.’
In the afternoon at 14:00, there will be an event for all those with prams, for a race.
Independent Street is an award-winning artisan market operator with a focus on independent businesses across the North West and the Midlands.
The Eccles event forms part of its programme of markets around encouraging people into town centres.
The Eccles Artisan Market line-up includes AK Distillery, Juliet’s Café and many more independent creators.
