Without the help of the community and their donations, this would seem difficult to achieve.

Salford resident and founder of Daughters of Salford Angela Ouattara and her team of trustees and volunteers are passionate about finding solutions in which women are disproportionately affected by poverty.

Angela said: “without practical donations and financial support through stewardship we would not be able to do what we do and are truly grateful.”

Angela added: The financial donations allow us to ensure safety equipment and basic guidance can be followed by parents despite significant financial hardship.”

In 2018 17,423 children living Salford were living in poverty.
