Lupo Caffe Italiano is a small slice of Italy that has found its way into Exchange Quay. Situated only 15-20 minutes away from MCUK, Lupo Caffe Italliano has been based in Exchange Quay for only a few months, but has already established itself as a well known part of the local community.

Lupo’s has been the reciever of several awards, including for the Best Coffee Bar In Manchester for 2015 and 2017 respectively. Owner Nico Pasquali puts this down to the extent to which they go to keep the coffee and the food as authentic to the Italian way as possible.

The flower that is used in both the bread and cakes for example, is authentic Italian flower that has been ordered in specially. Lupo’s also boasts a wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables that are bought fresh from the local marketplace and if that wasn’t enough.

Lupo also roasts the coffee 9kg Petroncini which is a means of processing coffee that has been around since 1919. As a result, traditional bland cups of coffee become a treat for the senses with an intense richness and flavour that will leave many speechless.

Nico says the cafe offers cakes and sandwiches that range from Vegetarian to Vegan to Gluten free.
