Salford City

Salford City will be looking to make it four wins on the bounce when they host Swindon town this Saturday while Swindon will be hoping to get back on track after a promising 2-1-win last weekend against Walsall.

Winning four of their last five league matches, Salford City are proving to be a formidable opponent, with Adam Rooney and Jake Jervis fronting the charge. Swindon have not seen as much success recently, only winning one match and drawing another in their last five league matches.

Currently 11th in Sky Bet League Two, winning this match against Richie Wellen’s team could potentially get the Ammies as high as eighth in the table, putting them nearer the elusive playoff places.

With arguably more at stake however, the Robins could top the table if they win against Graham Alexander’s team, so Saturday’s fixture is a must-win for either team.

Both forwards, Eoin Doyle and Emmanuel Dieseruvwe, are at risk of a one-match suspension, racking up four yellow cards each.

Doyle has scored 14 goals this season in League Two, whilst Mani Dieseruvwe, who last scored in August, has scored 3 for the Ammies.

Although Salford City have struggled for consistency in the league this season, a fourth consecutive win will go a long way towards their playoff challenge in this promotion six-pointer.
