A new music events company is determined to show audiences a ‘Ded Luvly’ time.

Ded Luvly began as a place for like-minded people to share great ‘choons’ on Whatsapp and was never intended to become anything more than that.

But, after continuing to grow, the current team, comprising of Jay, Mike, Niall, Jake, Alec and Will, realised they could do more and Ded Luvly was created to stage music events.

Describing the first company meeting, Jay said: “We discussed what we think Ded Luvly is and what we want to offer people and the main takeaway was community. We want to build a community where everyone feels welcome.

The team’s first event was a ‘Ded Luvly Afternoon’. Jay said: “It really captured the essence of what Ded Luvly is, great choons, great people [and where you feel able to] laugh if you want, dance if you can, cry if you need.”

The team began working with Low Four Studios, a recording studio and venue in Manchester, to host their events.

Jay said: “Everyone that goes in is just blown away by how good it is and to be able to call it home is a pleasure.”

With a few things up their sleeve for next year, the goal is more club focused events, while continuing the Ded Luvly gigs and afternoons at Low Four.

The next gig, on December 3, brings in friends of the team, Dan Disgrace, and supporting band, Mike Tyson is Dead.
