Commuters can expect disruption on Broughton’s Frederick Road due to week-long roadworks starting today (Monday 16 January).
Traffic coming out of Manchester will not be able to turn right onto Frederick Road, instead being diverted to Pendleton Roundabout, Broad Street and then onto Frederick Road.
Significant delays are expected throughout the week, with University students and people around the area urged to check travel updates and plan journeys in advance.
