As the Easter holidays approach, here’s a round-up of Easter activities throughout Salford to keep the family entertained.

1. An Easter Fair hosted by Salford City Academy for all the family

Salford City Academy’s Easter Fair will be held on March 30, from 3.30pm-6pm. The event schedule is packed with activities such as bingo, a family picture with the Easter bunny, a variety of different stalls selling crystals, and a plethora of games and crafts.

2. Easter Funday at the Hive Wellbeing Hub

From 10am-12pm on Sunday April 9, the Hive Wellbeing Hub is running an Easter Fun Day. This funday will cost £5 per child and will include breakfast with bunnies, an egg hunt around Victoria Park, and a bunny hop disco with prizes for the kids.

3. Patricroft Conservative Club Easter Party

Patricroft Conservatives Club is hosting an Easter party on Sunday April 9 from 2pm-6pm. Tickets are £3 per child and free for adults when accompanied by a child.

This party includes games, buffet, Eccles DJ ASY, and prizes for an Easter Bonnet competition.

4. Take the whole family down to Salford Rangers Easter event

Salford City Council has planned events for the first week of April at various locations, all of which are free to the public.

Salford Rangers are running Easter family events:

Peel Park, The Crescent, Tuesday, April 4, 1pm-3pm.

Dukes Drive Park, Wednesday, April 5, 1pm-3pm.

Worsley Woods, Thursday, April 6, 10.30pm-12pm.

Clifton Country Park, Friday,  April 7, 1pm-3pm.

Blackleach Country Park, Saturday, April 8, 11am-2.30pm.

5. Join Detective Pikachu for the Great Playkidds Easter Egg Hunt

On Sunday April 9 from 2pm-4pm, Detective Pikachu is leading the Great Playkidds Egg Hunt. This egg hunt is primarily aimed at primary school-aged children, but children of all ages are welcome to participate.

The party includes Easter-themed games with prizes, an egg hunt around the play centre, a disco with Pikachu, and an opportunity for photos. Each child who attends will receive an Easter egg to take home.

The Easter egg hunt costs £11.95 per child and can be purchased online, in person at 345 Moorside Road, or by phone at 0161 728 1671.

 

6. Easter workshops at 3Two1 theatre school

The 3Two1 theatre school is holding a workshop at Boothstown Village Hall on Wednesday April 5 and Thursday April 6 from 9am-4pm or 8.30am-4.30pm for £20 per day or £35 for both days.

Wednesday’s workshop will explore the best Disney musicals, exploring the different stories and characters while dancing and singing to some of the musical’s favourite numbers.

The workshop day on Thursday will consist of improvisation, exploration, devising, character work, and script work while playing Easter-themed games.

 

7. Peppa Pig’s Easter Bonanza at Playkidds

On Friday 7 April from 10am-12pm, join Peppa Pig, who has been sent by the Easter bunny to deliver Easter goodies and fun. This event is geared towards younger children, but older children are welcome as well.

The party includes prizes for Easter themed games, a disco with Peppa Pig, and an Easter goody bag to take home.

Tickets are £9.95 per child and can be purchased online, over the phone at 0161 728 1671, or in person at the play centre.

8. Get crafty at the Easter Craft Fair

Elms Bank Masonic Hall will host a craft fair on Sunday March 26 from 11am-4pm. The fair will include a variety of items such as skincare, beauty products, wax melts, home fragrance, home made cakes, and many more. Afternoon tea is available for £8 per person and must be reserved in advance.

9. Another day out for all of the family

On Tuesday,  April 4, from 1pm-4pm, Pendlebury Social Club will host a family funday. The Easter fair will feature inflatable slides, trampolines, fair rides, hook a duck, face painting, more games and competitions, an Easter bonnet parade, and many other activities.
