Salford City Co-owners Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt will be among the stars playing in this year’s Soccer Aid charity event.

The three members of the ‘Class of 92’ will be crossing the Ship Canal to play at their old stomping ground of Old Trafford to represent England, raising money for UNICEF.

The event returns to the Manchester United ground after three years, being played at the Etihad Stadium and West Ham’s London Stadium in previous editions.

Started by Take That star Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes in 2006, Soccer Aid has raised over £75 million for UNICEF UK.

Neville, Scholes and Butt will be joining fellow England stars and celebs such as Jermain Defoe, Sir Mo Farah and I’m a Celebrity winner Jill Scott.

They will be facing off against an all-star Rest of World XI, captained by Olympic Champion Usain Bolt.

Bolt was spotted yesterday within Neville’s Hotel Football holding up a customised Salford City shirt.

Soccer Aid will be played on Sunday June 11, and will be broadcast live on ITV. Kick off is at 7:30pm.

Tickets are now avaliable from the Soccer Aid website.
