Walkden Library is set to temporarily close for a week in May for refit work.
The library will close from 15 May for seven days to make way for a new carpet being fitted.
Walkden South Councillor Joshua Brooks wrote on Facebook: “Walkden library will need to close for a week, commencing 15 May, for a new carpet to be fitted.
“If the work is completed sooner the library will be back open before the end of the week. Though an inconvenience, this will of course be an improvement to the library environment.”
