Broughton Leisure Centre’s gym has reopened ahead of schedule after renovation work threatened a month-long closure.
The gym, ladies-only area and studios, which were originally scheduled to close from 3 July for a four-week period, opened this morning (Monday 17 July) at 6:15am.
After new air-conditioning systems were installed ahead of time, all accounts which delayed pay until after the works were completed have now been unfrozen.
The swimming pool, sauna and steam room remained unaffected by the works.
A statement from the centre said: “We are thrilled to share the great news that our Gym, Studio and Ladies-only Gym have reopened ahead of schedule. All facilities resumed operation as of 6:15am on Monday, 17th July.
“We look forward to seeing you!”
