Salford Police have launched an appeal for information after an 81-year-old man was hit by a vehicle in the car park of Tesco Extra, Pendleton.

The elderly man was hit on Tuesday at around 2.30pm. He remains in a critical condition in hospital.
No arrests have been made and the driver of the vehicle is assisting the police with their enquiries.
