Following a “record breaking” tour in 2023 Twelve Angry Men is back in session and will hold court at The Lowry next month.
Bill Kenwright’s Ltd production of the 1957 three-time Academy Award nominated film will play at The Lowry from Tuesday February 27 to Saturday March 2 2024.
Twelve Angry Men was named as the “classiest, most intelligent drama playing at the west end” after two successful seasons at the London Garrick’s Theatre in 2022 and 2023.
The play, for those who haven’t heard of it before, is about a murder trial where a young delinquent has been accused of murdering his father.
This years tour will feature a lot of last years cast. This includes Coronation Street stars Tristan Gemmill and Gary O’Brien who are joined alongside fellow soap opera stars Michael Greco.
The new cast member Jason Merrells who stars as ‘juror 8’ will be taking over the role from American actor Patrick Duffy who held the role during the 2023 UK tour.
