Salford police are appealing for information on a suspected man who they believe drove into a staff member at a Swinton petrol station.
Over a number of days during this month and last month, a man attended a petrol station on Bolton Road driving a blue coloured VW Passat vehicle with front plates showing AF56XGN or AE56XGN and LG55 PUY on the rear.
On each occasion, the man had withdrawn fuel and driven away at speed without paying.
At approximately 8pm on January 23 2024, the man drove at a member of staff who attempted to stop him leaving, hit him with the VW vehicle and made off. Luckily no serious injuries were sustained.
Officers have now released the image of a man they would like to speak to as its believed he could have information that will aid enquiries. They have also released two images of the suspected vehicle.
