Salford Red Devils will continue the search for their second win of the league season against Warrington Wolves this Friday.
The Red Devils will be hoping to turn the tide in their league season on Friday 4 July, after a disappointing result against St Helens.
Salford will be looking to change their seasons form in this round 17 fixture against the Wire – as they meet them for the first time this campaign.
The Red Devils will be able to walk into the game hoping to continue their form against Friday nights opponent, having won the last three Super League fixtures against Warrington.
And The Red will be hoping to capture another league victory, as they enter the final 12 games of the season.
The Red Devils players will also be hoping to lift the spirits of Paul Rowley also, who was critical of his side after their most recent defeat – calling for more physicality.
However, ahead of Friday night’s fixture he was looking forward to the home fixture at the Salford Community Stadium.
He said: “Always confident, always prepared to do just that (cause an upset). We’re acutely aware of Warrington’s threats and what sort of quality they’ve got.
“They’re a fantastic side, a formidable outfit and formidable club as well for so many years now.”
Paul Rowley continued: “We know all about them, we know obviously the key player there is Marc Sneyd, who we know only too well.
“There’s a lot of danger surrounding the fixture, but we’re looking forward to the challenge.”
A win for the Red Devils will also be hoping to secure a victory this weekend, despite the points difference, as it will put them once again level with Huddersfield Giants.
The Red Devils will kick off their fixture against the Wire on Friday night at 8pm, being hosted at the Salford Community Stadium.
