Fly-tipping in Langworthy and Weaste has sparked complaints of rats and unsightly dumping.
Angela Ndaiga, who lives in Weaste, has seen rats attracted to household rubbish in an alleyway behind her house.
She said: “It is just a disgusting thing to see when you get home everyday, no matter where I live I deserve a clean environment that doesn’t attract pests.”
Items such as mattresses, wood planks and dressing tables are dumped close to her home.
Salford Council cleared the original mess after it was reported to Clean Up Salford but more rubbish appeared within a couple of days.
Clean Up Salford is a resident-led community group supported by CleanupUK, Keep Britain Tidy and Love Your Planet Salford based at Langworthy Cornerstone.
It reports litter and fly tipping to Salford Council via its Facebook group and the council responds.
