Salford Shopping Centre is set to host three weekends of free, family-friendly entertainment in the run-up to Christmas.
Across three Saturdays before 25 December, the precinct in Pendleton will provide a range of festive activities to allow shoppers to “soak up the Christmas spirit.”
Running on Saturday 6, 13, and 20 December, from 11am to 3pm, the centre will come alive for its ‘Festive Fun Saturdays’ campaign, featuring roaming Christmas-themed characters and seasonal surprises.
Visitors will witness walking nutcrackers marching through the malls, stilt-walking tree fairies sprinkling sparkle from above, talking Christmas trees delivering cheeky chats and more magical guests appearing throughout the centre for free, with no booking required.
Rory Fleming, Centre Manager for Salford Shopping Centre, said: “Christmas at Salford is all about fun, colour, and creating a bit of joy for our community.
“Festive Fun Saturdays bring that to life in the most brilliant way. Whether you’re shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or just soaking up the atmosphere, our cast of Christmas characters will make your visit unforgettable.”
Festive Fun Saturdays add to a wider season of activity at Salford Shopping Centre, as the centre continues its commitment to bringing creativity, energy, and local engagement into its public spaces.
