Clarendon House, Eccles

Plans to convert an office block in Eccles into 14 apartments have been submitted to Salford council.

The proposed layout would create 11 one-bedroom apartments alongside three two-bedroom apartments.

This would contribute to Salford City Council’s Housing plan to deliver more than 12,000 new homes between April 2025 and March 2030.

The plans indicate parking for both cars and motorcycles, with 10 car spots and 16 cycle spots, whilst the existing roof is set to be removed and a balcony installed instead.

According to Home.co.uk properties with two bedrooms are the most commonly sold across Eccles. However recent statistics show a decrease in the number of properties sold across the town.

Starion Investments is behind the proposal, which will go to Salford council planning committee for consideration.
