Karl Robinson, Salford City manager, has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month thanks to the team’s an impressive record in January.
Following the win against Tranmere Rovers last week, Robinson said: “This football club believes in working hard and being disciplined in overriding difficult moments and being resilient.”
Salford City opened the new year with four wins out of five in the month of January. This includes a thrilling 3-2 victory against Swindon Town, which was the Gaffer’s 800th game in management.

This strong start to the new year has led to Salford being in sixth place, though a 1-0 loss against Accrington Stanley slightly took the sheen off.
David Artell of Grimsby Town, Neil Harris of Cambridge United, and Andy Woodman of Bromley are also nominated.
Robinson, who joined the club in 2024, led the Ammies to eighth in his first full season at the club. He also helped them to steer clear of relegation the season in his first season at the club.
The winner of the award will be announced on February 13th.
This comes in the run-up to Salford’s Valentine’s Day spectacle, which sees the Amies taking on Premier League title challengers Manchester City.
This would be Robinson’s first Manager of the Month win whilst at Salford City.
