Halloween is around the corner and once again Salfordians are looking to celebrate with a plethora of events.
Throughout October several family-friendly events are taking place to mark the holiday across the borough. From book fairs and discos to a rockathon – here is what you need to know about Salford’s Halloween events.
- Weaste & Seedley Social Club is hosting a free Halloween party on October 31 from 5pm. An evening packed with fun, games and music – this event is suitable for all ages and welcomes all. Dig out the costumes, bring the family and get ready for a night of fun.
- Salford Lads & Girls Club is throwing a rockathon for £15 – a 1.5 hour class followed by a Halloween disco and buffet. Taking place October 24 from 4-8pm.
- Ordsall Hall is hosting a ghost hunting session on October 31 with the Blackgate Team. See the creatures lurking in the shadows and haunting the Ordsall Hall from 8pm for £55.
- Princess Park in Irlam is exploring a Halloween Haunted Trail on October 24 – play games, win prizes, meet creepy characters and explore the haunted trail with the family. All from 4:30-7pm.
- Salford Precinct is bringing a Community Halloween Market on Saturday October 31. Food & drink, artisan makers, gifts & homeware, fashion & accessories, jewellery & crafts, and more.
- Monton Social Club is throwing a children’s Halloween disco. On October 24 from 3–6pm get the costumes ready and bring your kids to have a spookily fun time for £5.
- Join Walkden Town Centre on Friday October 31 from 12:30–3:30pm for an afternoon full of free Halloween fun. Face painting, pumpkin decorating and more for the family.
- The Club House at Barton on October 30, 3–5pm, has a not so spooky Halloween party going on. Kids DJ, games, dancing and spooky treats are all in store for £3.
- Spice & Spirits in Little Hutton is also hosting a Hallow’s eve event with their signature food, plenty of costumes and musical performances throughout. Taking place on October 31 on Halloween.
- Weaste & Seedley Social Club is hosting a free pumpkin carving afternoon on October 29 with sessions at 1pm and 3pm. Head down for the free event and make your own custom gourd creation.
