Children can get into the spooky spirit this October half term by attending sporty activities across Salford.

1. Sports Activity Camp

Described as ‘The BEST Holiday Camp in the city’, the Sports Activity Camp is back at St Ambrose Barlow High School from Monday to Thursday October 21-24. The main sessions run from 9am-3.30pm but parents and guardians can opt for an earlier start/later finish option of 8am-6pm!

The camp, targeted at children aged 5-12 years, gives the opportunity to learn new skills, have fun and be creative through the workshops and coaching sessions provided which will cover drama, dance, music and sport and much more.

Prices for the earlier start/later finish option (8am-6pm) will cost £68 a week or £20 a day, and the 9am-3.30pm session will cost £44 for the week or £15 a day. Get your tickets here.

2. The Deadly Dance Camp

Join in with some spooky themed dance routines this October half term for FREE at St Paul’s Church Community Centre in Walkden.

The dance rehearsals will take place 10am-midday throughout the week, starting on Monday October 21 and finishing on Thursday October 24. Perfect for all children aged 8-16 years to show off their dance moves and get into the Halloween spirit.

All dance routines will be showcased at the end of the week at The Witches Walk on Friday October 25 and the dancers will be performing at 4pm, 5pm and 6.15pm walks (note: the performers will be needed from 2pm to 7.30pm).

3. Halloween Pool Party

Dive into the fun at the Halloween themed family swim at Worsley Leisure Centre on Saturday October 26.

The pool will be turned orange to suit the spooky season swim, two 50-minute sessions will be taking place on the day, they are running from 1.10-2 pm and 2.05-2.55 pm, and costing £5.50 per person.
