Salford City

Salford City FC prepare to face Merseyside team Marine FC for a friendly match tomorrow night.

The game will take place at 19:30 at Marine Travel Arena, Liverpool.

Sitting 14th in the League Two table, the Salford side will be looking for a win after losing two of their last five matches.

Their recent form features wins against Cambridge United, Walsall and Grimsby Town, however, Salford will be looking to get past their defeats, particularly their 4-0 loss to Forest Green and their losing four goals to one against Crewe.

Their last match resulted in a 1-0 win over Cambridge United with a header from Adam Rooney in the 77th minute.

Marine FC are currently sitting 6th in the Northern Premier League side Marine table and have only won two of their last five matches, including a 6-0 win over Mossley.

The two teams have played against each other three times in their history, their first meeting ending in a 0-0 draw in 2015. The other two games ended in victory for Salford, with a 2-0 win in 2016 and a 2-1 win in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup last year.
