Salford has had 1,742 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of TEN.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,742, an increase of TEN

BURY: 1,550, an increase of SIX

BOLTON: 2,238, an increase of SEVEN

ROCHDALE: 2,188, an increase of SEVENTEEN

OLDHAM: 2,803, an increase of TEN

TAMESIDE: 1,870, an increase of FIVE

STOCKPORT: 1,964, an increase of SIX

MANCHESTER: 4,125, an increase of TWENTY SEVEN

TRAFFORD : 1,626, an increase of SIX

WIGAN: 2,297, an increase of THREE
