Salford has had 1,970 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of FORTY SIX.

The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.

The current number of cases in each region is as follows:

SALFORD: 1,970, an increase of FORTY SIX

BURY: 1,677, an increase of THIRTY ONE

BOLTON: 2,695, an increase of ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE

ROCHDALE: 2,383, an increase of FORTY TWO

OLDHAM: 3,047, an increase of TWENTY FOUR

TAMESIDE: 2,045, an increase of TWENTY EIGHT

STOCKPORT: 2,039, an increase of SEVENTEEN

MANCHESTER: 4,568, an increase of SEVENTY ONE

TRAFFORD : 1,758, an increase of SIXTEEN

WIGAN: 2,393, an increase of FIFTEEN
