Salford vaccine

Pharmacies, clinics and pop-up centres are now offering the CVOID-19 booster jab around Salford.

With some evidence suggesting that the second dose of COVID-19 vaccinations can reduce in efficacy in just over six months, healthcare professionals are recommending receiving a third ‘booster’ dosage.

The booster can be offered to vulnerable people to help strengthen immune systems throughout the winter period.

As well as helping curb winter illnesses, the booster is expected to help prevent hospitalisations due to COVID.

For residents living in Swinton, Little Hulton or Walkden and needing a first or second dosage, its recommended to contact your GP to book an appointment.
