Poppa‘most productions theatre company CIC are bringing four shows of the comedy play ‘Oomph’ to  Salford’s Kings arms on the 25th and 26th November.

The community interest-based theatre company have already sold out their seven- thirty shows have now been forced to add extra shows on the same days at 9pm due to demand.

After nearly 18 months of coronavirus related restrictions, the co-founder Mike Cochran said” “We have been truly humbled by the support for the show, and the cast and everyone involved can’t wait for the first curtain call! Prepare to laugh!”

The play has been written by and stars local actors and actresses and consists of four comedy plays based in ancient Athens, the 80s, your Nana’s kitchen and back.

Theatres were first shut along with other non-essential businesses back in March 2020 and were only able to open in full capacity in July 2021.

The company also prides itself offering local talent from the northwest” Our aim is to scout out the best new creatives the north- West offers and give them the platform they need, right on their doorstep” said Co- founder Gina Ruffin
