CHART-TOPPER Pixie Lott has revealed her plans for a large charity ball in March next year.  The ball, which will feature her as one of their acts will be a night filled with celebrity guests and special surprises.

Pixie is a dedicated supporter of Alzheimer’s UK and holds monthly charity acoustic nights at her local pub to raise money for research.

However, she recently disclosed some big news to Quays, Pixie said: “My sister is helping me organise a massive ball for Alzheimer’s on the 10th March.”  The ball, which will be in Chelmsford, Essex will be priced at £70 a ticket and as for the entertainment Pixie said: “Obviously, I will be part of the entertainment but we will also have other surprises by people who want to come and help us out.”

There will also be a charity auction on the night and all funds raised will go towards Alzheimer’s Research UK.

The ball, for Pixie, is a way to raise money for a cause that is close to her heart. Pixie’s Grandmother, Amelia Martin, sadly passed away from Alzheimer’s in 2012 at age 84, and ever since, Pixie and her family have been raising thousands for Alzheimer’s UK to help aid research.

Alzheimer’s is a neurological disease that affects the brain, causing memory loss and cognitive decline.  It is more common in elderly patients and can be devastating to those close to them.

Pixie is engaged to model Oliver Cheshire, 29, and is hoping her wedding will fall shortly after her big ball.  She said: “Time just goes and were so busy with so much stuff you just don’t get around to it, but we say like July/September next year.”

Pixie was recently seen at Mahiki Bar in Manchester, where she was promoting her new single, ‘Won’t Forget You’, she sang an acoustic version followed by a live performance featuring Stylo G.  The music video for her new single will be available to watch from 10th October.
