Four people, three of which are children, have been rushed to hospital after a Salford collision this morning.
The incident happened at around 10:50 am when emergency services were called to Joule Close where the collision occurred.
Several ambulances were dispatched to the scene of where the incident took place, just off of New Eccles Road.

It is believed that one of the children injured is a six-years-old girl who was taken to Salford Royal Hospital where she is currently being treated for serious injuries. Another girl aged 11 was admitted to RMCH hospital with minor injuries.
Locals were shocked by the incident. At the scene, shattered glass and a broken fence along with car debris was part of the aftermath of the crash.
Eyewitnesses reported that the accident was caused by the car reversing and striking the four pedestrians, who were said to be walking to a nearby tram stop.
The vehicle did stop immediately at the scene of the incident.
A man who was at the scene of the incident, believed to be a relative of the victims, expressed his fears and concerns for the health of the two young girls injured.
A concerned neighbor said: “I saw the car hit the fence and so it [the fence] bounced off. I saw a young girl trying to jump out of the way. Afterwards I heard the other lady [the mother] crying out. She was on the ground and was surrounded by people.”
When asked if anyone was injured the witness continued on to say: “Yeah there was a young girl seriously injured. When the police and ambulance it took them a while to get her out. But they eventually took her in the ambulance”
