An independent street food and events organisation is set to return to Salford this summer.
The waterfront at Media City will be transformed into an open-air destination catered by a host of street food vendors with the return of events company Grub.
The open-air destination on the Quays will be open through the summer, featuring a rotating line-up of independent street food vendors including Sizzling Seoul, Dukes Po Boys, Lorys Tirimisu, and Ilovebrioche.
It will also host their in-house butty shop, Caff, to serve breakfast, brunch and lunch.
Alongside the food vendors, visitors can expect a waterfront bar, live music, and a changing weekly events programme.
GRUB director, Jason Bailey, said: “GRUB On The Docks is about creating a space people want to spend time in.
“Summer by the water, great food, cold drinks and a proper atmosphere.
“MediaCity is a unique waterside location, and this is creating a pop-up for the summer months which reflects the creative energy of this creative campus,” he added.
The events programme includes screenings of the world cup, beer and wine festivals, and a show from New Faces Comedy.
Visitors can also attend family-friendly events, such as Summer Schools kids’ classes, and Baby Mosh.
Joshua McAllister, Senior Events Manager at MediaCity, said: “GRUB on the docks is back at MediaCity this Summer, bringing seriously goof indie street food, live entertainment and big screen sport to the waterfront.
“It’s the ideal spot to catch up with friends, family or colleagues.
“With a packed line-up and a laid-back, feel-good atmosphere, it’s all about great food, good vibes and making the most of the summer by the water,” he explained.
GRUB On The Docks will launch on May 28 and will be open Tuesday to Sunday, from 12pm-10pm.
