Salford City have been given just 3,000 tickets for The Leasing.Com Trophy final at the  90,000 capacity Wembley Stadium.

The Ammies are set to face Portsmouth, who have been given over 50,300 tickets for The Leasing.Com Trophy Final, on April 5.

The allocation has frustrated the Salford fanbase while even some Portsmouth fans are confused by the EFL’s decision.

In what is arguably one of the biggest days in the club’s history, Salford will be going into the final as huge underdogs.

At the time of writing, they sit 13th in the Sky Bet League 2 while promotion chasing Portsmouth are sitting in 5th in Sky Bet League 1.

Salford’s key men going into the final are top scorer Adam Rooney, and experienced right back Scott Wiseman.

While Pompey will be hoping to have Elias Harrison and Christian Burgess who have both been crucial to the South Coast side’s promotion push.

Tickets will be priced at £20 for adults and £10 for concessions.
