Salford City Council has published the names of each candidate for this May’s upcoming local elections.

Held on Thursday 4th May 2023, it sees one seat for each of the 20 wards up for grabs. In Pendlebury and Clifton ward, there will be two seats to be won.

Labour currently hold 49 seats on the council, meaning they need just one win to retain their overall control of the council.

New election rules in place mean that voters will need to bring a form of ID in order to cast their ballot.
