Salford City captain Ash Eastham is one of 11 players to leave the club at the end of the season.

The club has released their retained and released list after a successful campaign in League Two, only missing out on the play-off final on penalties.

Captain Eastham joined the Ammies in 2020, making 93 appearances in Salford colours.

The center-back has struggled with injuries, only playing in 11 matches this season.

His, along with 10 other players’ contracts will not be renewed and they are set to leave the club at the end of June.

Also departing is Jason Lowe, who played in 26 league games this season.

Lowe made 125 appearances for the club, and scored the decisive penalty in the Ammies’ EFL Trophy final victory in 2021.

Five loan players will return to their parent clubs, with goalkeepers Alex Cairns and Giosue Bellagambi going back to Fleetwood and Huddersfield respectively.
