Salford City’s longest serving player Ibou Touray will leave the club this summer.
Touray was offered a new deal by the club, but opted to depart, and will join local rivals Stockport County in July.
He played 272 matches in Ammies colours, including 101 clean sheets and 10 goals.
The Gambian international joined the side from Nantwich Town in 2017, and quickly became an iconic figure, including his own flag in the West Stand at the Peninsula Stadium.
His spell at the club saw him gain promotion from the National League North and the National League, alongside an EFL Trophy win in 2020.
After six seasons, 272 appearances, two promotions, and an EFL Trophy win – Ibou Touray will leave the Club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the month.

He was named the Team Captain earlier this year and led the side to their first ever League Two play-off appearance, losing on penalties to Ibou’s new side.
Touray said to the club: “I just want to say a big thank you to everyone at the Club and to the fans, I’m sad that it’s had to come to an end but I’ve enjoyed and cherished every moment playing in front of them.”
