Salford Easter break

With the Easter holidays just around the corner, there’s plenty of events available for families in Salford. Here’s a list of events, free to attend or under just £2 per child.

Audacious Church, Trinity Way, M3 7BB

Audacious Church are hosting an Easter musical that teaches kids exactly what Easter is about. There will also be rides, food vans and an inflatables. The event is free to attend, and you can book tickets here.

Peel Park

Friends of Peel Park and Blossom Crafts are hosting an Easter Bunny Hunt around Peel Park. The hunt is free to attend, and no ticket  is required – just show up!

Tuesday 2nd April – 11am-1pm.

Ordsall Hall

Search for decorated eggs around Ordsall Hall in their Easter Egg Hunt, and find out some fascinating facts along the way. It is £2 per child, and you can book tickets here.

Starting from Sunday 31st March – During Hall opening times

 

The Lady of the Hall teaches how to use a quill and ink at a Tudor writing workshop. You can practice writing the alphabet, or create your own Tudor signature. The workshop is £1.50 per child and you can book tickets here.

Tuesday 2nd April – 11am, 1pm & 2pm

 

Take a walk around Ordsall Hall, as it tells the tale of a boy called Oscar and the White Lady who is said to haunt the hall. The walk is free but you should book tickets here.

Thursday 11th April – 11am, 1pm & 2pm

 

Little Hulton Library

The LEGO Fun Day is free to attend and no booking required.

Wednesday 3rd April – 9:30am-12pm & 2pm-5pm

Find out about the grueling Victorian washday, then give it a go for yourself. This workshop is free and no booking required.

Wednesday 3rd April -11am, 1pm & 2pm.

 

Contribute to a giant artwork with paintbrushes, crayons or your hands and feet at the Make Your Mark painting workshop. It is £1 per child and you can book tickets here.

Thursday 4th April – 11am & 2pm.

 

Learn about the Victorian optical illusion, the thaumatrope, and make your own. The workshop is £1.50 per child, and you can book here.
