From classic cars to vintage outfits and antiques, Salford’s second annual classic car boot sale was an idyllic step into the past.
Hosted on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July in MediaCity, the classic car boot sale returned to Salford after last year’s success.
Crowds flooded the many clothing, accessories, homewares, and collectables stalls throughout the weekend, with food stalls and the Bus Bar being popular attractions.
Throughout the event, it focused on sustainable and authentic vintage displays along with stalls that featured unique, timeless pieces.

The event also feature clothes stalls, with an array of classic vehicles on display; from a series of motorbikes to the Renault used in the British television series Life on Mars.
And with vehicles in attendance, they were able to win prizes for their vintage cars on show.
Winning Best in the Show for his 1959 Messerschmitt KR200, was car enthusiast Ryalwyn Garner, who said: “They’ve made me feel very welcome, everyone is very friendly.”
He continued to share how kind everyone had been to him, and the compliments that have come with his car, as he continued.
“If parents have young children, I let them sit in the care,” Mr Garner said: “The nicest thing people have said to me is what a cool car this is.”
And as the DJ played hits from across the 20th century, including Rock’n’roll and Reggae sounds, dance teachers took to the floor demonstrating classic moves.

Dancing in numbers couples and groups of friends joined them, doing the jive and even dances from the swing movement.
Many visitors in attendance also took the opportunity to dress in their finest vintage garments; inspired by the full skirts and pin-up style of the 1950s through to the disco fashion of the 1970s.
The festivities ran until early evening each day, with independent food stalls offering various meals and snacks while the iconic Bus Bar served a variety of cask ales and other refreshments.
After an enthusiastic turnout this year, it can be expected for The Classic Car Boot Sale to return to Salford Quays for a third year in 2026.
