Students at a Salford school have raised hundreds of pounds for a Christmas charity appeal.
Pupils at Moorside High School took part in the festive Mission Christmas Trolley Dash.
As part of the initiative, students visited B&M Bargains to carefully select gifts for children in need, ensuring that every present would bring joy this Christmas.
Cash for Kids is a charity dedicated to giving disadvantaged children and young people across the UK the chance to thrive.
The event raised over £900 for Mission Christmas – Cash for Kids, providing essential gifts for children across the region who might otherwise go without this festive season.
By taking part in hands-on activities like the Trolley Dash, Moorside High School students not only learn the importance of giving back but also experience the impact their efforts can have on others.
A spokesperson from Moorside High said: “We are incredibly proud of our students for their thoughtfulness and dedication. Through initiatives like this, we can support our wider community and show our students the real difference they can make. This is a wonderful example of our values in action, promoting generosity, kindness, and community spirit.
“Moorside High School extends its heartfelt thanks to all students, staff, and families who contributed to the appeal, helping to make a significant difference in the lives of children this Christmas.”
