Saford RLFC have unveiled eight new signings ahead of their upcoming Championship campaign.
Appointed Salford’s new coach on Monday, Mike Grady has wasted no time bringing new players through the door, with the club’s opening game of the season against Oldham just eight days away.
Grady has secured the return of Sam Hill and Charlie Glover, who played for Salford Red Devils before the club were wound up over an unpaid tax bill in November.
Winger Hill made five appearances for Salford in the Super League last season under former head coach Paul Rowley and is expected to have a big role to play in the second tier.
Glover made his senior debut for Salford against Wigan and played nine times for the club.
He walked back on a decision to join North Wales Crusaders for 2026 after a consortium led by former player Mason Caton-Brown was chosen to take ownership of Salford and the club was awarded Championship membership.
The pair have been joined by three more former Red Devils players in Noah Appleby, Jacob Andrews-Smith and Leunbou Bardyel-Wells.
Bardyel-Wells made two senior appearances for Salford in the Super League, while Appleby and Andrews-Smith featured in the club’s youth sides.
Former Salford City Roosters player Damola Lola and ex-Red Devils youngster Cole Appleby have completed the list of eight new arrivals as Grady begins the mammoth task of building a squad from scratch with the Oldham clash looming.
