The derelict Swinton Royal British Legion club could be torn down if Salford City council approves a plan to build a 15-space apartment block.
Swinton Legion club, which shut its doors to the public in 2025, comprises two-storey premises with an integrated three-bedroom apartment.
The planning application from Creative Property People Ltd is for a block of 15 apartments and would increase housing and accommodation across Swinton. A decision on the plan is expected in the next few months.
The social club has been inactive on social media since April last year, and was known across Swinton for hosting interactive entertainment and community driven service. Lots of different events were held in the Swinton Royal British Legion from 2017 to this time period.
