Salford City take the short outing across Greater Manchester to face local rivals Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park this Saturday afternoon.
A visit from League One trailblazers Sheffield Wednesday in the week saw a spirited fightback steal all three points for the visitors in a 1-2 EFL Trophy defeat for the Ammies at the AIG Stadium, with Ben Woodburn’s stroke of genius counting for nothing after Davis Keillor-Dunn’s post interval finish and Jamal Lowe’s calm spot-kick completed the Owls’ turnaround.
