ARTIST Michelle Howard from Manchester has painted a touching tribute to the victims of the Ariana Grande concert.

The artist has been working on the project for 16 weeks and plans to stick with her painting until it is completely perfect.

“I thought I’d pay my tribute to the tragedy. The Hope, Peace and Love are all the things I have to have in my life” She said about the words in bold on her piece.

The local street artist feels very passionate about the subject repeatedly referencing the sadness of the loss of life of children so young.  “Instead of putting something on my body I’ve put something on canvas.

“As long as it’s got a meaning people are going to be enchanted by it.”

About people’s reaction, Michelle Howard said: “People just smile when they see it.”
