A Manchester-based creative business is hosting a ‘Galentines’ handbag painting workshop at Quayside Shopping Centre tonight.
Koukou Kreations is hosting the event from 6.30-9.30pm this evening.
The three hour workshop is beginner friendly, with everything from paintbrushes to second hand handbags provided, as well as Prosecco, soft drinks and snacks.
Host & Artist Sophie Koumides will be guiding participants on painting and colour mixing techniques, along with a showcase of previous examples and a mood board for inspiration.
She said: “Last year I started doing workshops and they’ve been going so well. I love teaching people all the tips and tricks I’ve learnt over the last few years and allowing people to upcycle their own bag in their own style.
“I believe in taking something old and unused and transforming it into something new and desirable. I have been running my business for three years now, based in Manchester, I hand paint vintage handbags and sell them mostly at markets in the Northern Quarter and around Manchester.”
