A new exhibition which recognises 30 years of volunteer work at a Salford-based mental health charity is coming to Salford Museum.
‘People and Portraits of Salford’ celebrates the 30th anniversary of Start mental health charity by spotlighting the hard work of its volunteers.
The portraits, created by current service users and volunteers, will be on display from 25 March to 24 September 2023.
They will be produced using the creative outlets available to the charity’s users, including painting, drawing, textiles, mosaic, ceramics, sculpture, print and photography.
Start was founded in 1993 in Salford and works to encourage connectivity, activity, curiosity, learning and giving.
