Worsley Christmas Markets have been cancelled this year due to increasing costs and time demands.
News of the cancellation was announced via a Facebook post by Worsley Markets this morning (Wednesday 6 September).
The post claimed that rising costs and time pressures were key factors that led to the cancellation of this year’s market.
It read: “Unfortunately, Worsley Christmas Market won’t be taking place this year.
“A number of factors including increased costs and competing demands on time have informed this decision.
For the last two years, Worsley Christmas Market has been held at at the Beesley Green Community Centre, and has featured local small businesses selling artisan delights, local crafts, gifts, food, and beverages.
