Walkden’s own Hug in a Mug coffee shop has created a new coffee morning for new mums called Mums Meet Up.
The first session will run on Monday November 13 from 9am till 11am and Wednesday 15 from 9am till 11am. It will continue every Monday and Wednesday.
This new event is for mums in the local area who have kids at school and want to make new friends, rest and chill out.
The aim is to allow them to reach out for support with other mums, to help them adjust to a new environment.
Hug in a Mug is more than happy for mums to bring along toddlers who are below school age.
Breast feeding is also more than welcome in the coffee shop, Hug in a Mug wants to make sure that mums can feel as comfortable as possible.
Changing facilities will also be provided.
