Police are appealing for information after a 70-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision in Little Hulton.
At 3.15pm on Saturday 16 August, it was reported to police that a cyclist and a car had been travelling in the same direction when the car hit the cyclist, pushing the man into a parked vehicle.
The incident occurred on Manchester Road West, Little Hulton, and saw the cyclist, a 70-year-old man, suffer “serious injuries which are potentially life-threatening”.
Following the serious collision, a 65-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Salford GMP are investigating the circumstances of the serious collision and, since the incident, are appealing for video footage.
Salford police are appealing for anyone with CCTV, Ring doorbell, or dash cam footage which shows the incident or the moments prior to contact.
GMP have encouraged anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting log 2110 of 16/08/25.
