Police are appealing for information months after knifepoint robbery took place in Salford.

Officers are investigating a knifepoint robbery at a car park in Greengate and have asked anyone who witnessed or has information relating to the incident to come forward.

Police believe the incident took place at a car park on Gorton Street at around 4:30pm on Wednesday 25 March.

It is believed that males, described as “black and wearing dark clothing” were involved, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said.

In a social media post on Facebook the Salford Police said:  “Officers investigating a knife point robbery at a car park on Gorton Street in #Salford are appealing for information and witnesses.

“It is believed that males who are described as black, wearing dark clothing.

“The incident happened on Wednesday 25 March 2026.

“Any info? Contact is on 101 quoting log CRI/06FF/0007483/26.”

People who can aid the police investigation have been urged to contact the force on 101 quoting log CRI/06FF/0007483/26.
