Salford City have signed winger Abraham Odoh from Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old has agreed to a two-year-deal at the club and joins as Salford’s fifth signing of the summer.
Odoh scored 11 goals in 69 appearances across two seasons with the Posh and started every match during the club’s successful 2024-25 EFL Trophy-winning campaign.
On the back of a testing season which saw him play just 13 times for the Cambridgeshire side in League One, he is relishing the opportunity to entertain supporters at Salford.
“I feel happy to have signed for the club and that it is over the line. I just cannot wait to get started now and meet the boys,” Odoh said after singing.
“I think the ambition and the plan that have been set up for this club made me come here.”
Salford are gearing up for their first season under new head coach Peter Cklamovski, who replaced Karl Robinson.
The ruthless decision to sack Robinson, who guided the club to their highest-ever League Two finish and the FA Cup fourth round, underlines that promotion is now the benchmark.
Odoh was convinced to join the Ammies by talks with the new Australian boss.
“Speaking to the Manager, and the way he wants to play, his style of play will suit me and that was something that I wanted to be a part of,” he explained.
“I like to get fans off their seats. I am someone that enjoys the game, and I just enjoy football and having fun with the ball. That is what I am about.
“I want to give the fans a show and to entertain. I want them to enjoy the football, so I cannot wait to show them what I can do.”
