Salford is on 940 confirmed cases of coronavirus, an increase of TWO.
The data was released today by the Department for Health and Social Care in partnership with the Office for National Statistics.
The current number of cases in each region is as follows:
SALFORD: 940, an increase of TWO
BURY: 774, an increase of THREE
BOLTON: 1,028, an increase of THREE
ROCHDALE: 815, an increase of FIVE
OLDHAM: 1,092, an increase of ONE
TAMESIDE: 751, an increase of SIX
STOCKPORT: 1,055, an increase of NONE
MANCHESTER: 1,607, an increase of TEN
TRAFFORD: 835, a decrease of FIVE
WIGAN: 1,212, an increase of TWO

Hi James, I have also been puzzled as to why the numbers for certain regions have gone down. I’m afraid all we can do is report what the numbers are, and some days they have gone down. At the bottom of each article, we include a link to the government’s dashboard, where we get our data from.
