Police are appealing for witnesses after vehicles were damaged in Salford.

Greater Manchester Police are urging people to come forward with information after a string of criminal damage offences involving vehicles in the Broughton area of Salford and nearby Crumpsall in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It is thought that the vehicles were damaged between 3 and 4:30am on Saturday 25 July.

Officers would like to speak to people who witnessed the incidents or have information which can assist their investigation.

In a statement posted on social media, a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for information following a series of criminal damage offences involving multiple vehicles in the Broughton and Crumpsall areas.

“The incidents are believed to have occurred between 3 and 4:30am on Saturday 25 July 2026.

“Officers are looking to speak to any potential witnesses of this incident or anyone who has any information that can assist the investigation. Contact can be made via 101 and quoting the log number 589 of 25/07/2026.”
